My Story:

Krista's Registered Massage Therapist

    Krista Saltzberry is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) who has been working at Atrium Spa since 2003. She graduated from the Canadian Therapeutic College in the same year, and she is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). She is also certified in hot stone massage, a relaxing and therapeutic treatment that uses heated stones to ease muscle tension and promote blood flow.

She is passionate about helping her clients achieve their wellness goals, whether they are looking for relaxation, stress relief, pain management, or injury recovery. She offers a variety of massage services to suit their needs and preferences, such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage and more. She has received many positive feedbacks and testimonials from her clients, who appreciate her professionalism, skill, and care.

My Qualifications

I am a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with a passion for helping people improve their health and well-being. I have a strong background in kinesiology, having earned my Honours Degree from Brock University in 2002. I then pursued my postgraduate degree in Massage Therapy at the Canadian Therapeutic College in 2003, where I learned various techniques and modalities to treat different conditions and needs. Since then, I have been working at Atrium Spa, a leading wellness center that offers a range of services and products to enhance your quality of life. I am a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), and I am also certified in hot stone massage, a relaxing and therapeutic treatment that uses heated stones to ease muscle tension and promote blood flow. I have received many positive feedbacks and testimonials from my clients, who appreciate my professionalism, skill, and care.

My Approach

My approach to massage therapy is holistic and client-centered. I believe that each client is unique and deserves a customized treatment plan that suits their goals and needs. I use a variety of techniques, such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal massage, to address different health and wellness concerns. I also incorporate elements of relaxation, such as soothing music, soft lighting, and aromatherapy, to create a calm and comfortable atmosphere.

How to check a Registered Massage Therapists credentials?

Here are the steps to check a massage therapist’s credentials with the CMTO:

  1. Go to the Find an RMT page on the CMTO website.

  2. Enter the name or registration number of the massage therapist you want to check in the search box. You can also narrow your search by city or town, registration status, gender, and authorization to practice.

  3. Click on the “Search” button to see the results. You will see a list of massage therapists that match your criteria, along with their practice locations and contact information.

  4. Click on the name of the massage therapist you want to check to see their profile. You will see their registration details, such as their registration number, date of registration, and authorization to practice. You will also see any conditions or limitations on their registration, such as supervision or education requirements. You will also see their conduct and disciplinary history, if any, such as complaints, investigations, or hearings.
